Each table/grid in the biGENIUS-X application offers the same functions:
Filter the data
If you hover over a column header in a table/grid, the filter icon is displayed:
If you click on the filter icon, the filter pop-up is displayed:
You can choose the filter condition:
By default, the filter condition is set to Contains.
Then, you can enter your filter text in the Filter... field:
Filtering occurs in real-time: as soon as you start typing your filter text, the data in the table or grid will begin to be filtered.
To clear the filter, hover over the column header again to open the filter pop-up, then click on the Clear button.
Sort data
To sort the data according to the values in a column, just click on the column header:
The sorting will occur as follows:
- Ascending order after the first click
- Descending order after the second click
- After the third click, no specific order
- Sort the data by the first column
- While holding down the Windows key on your keyboard, click on the second column.
- ...
The order of columns sorted is displayed next to the sort direction.
Change the size of the columns
To change the size of a column, hover over the line between 2 column headers and move the selector to the right or the left.
Changes to column size are not saved if you refresh the page. They apply only while viewing the table or grid.
Change the order of the columns
To change the order of a column, hover over a column header: the hand cursor is displayed.
Click on the header and move the column with a drag and drop to the right or the left.
