Before starting to use the biGENIUS-X application, you must discover your source data by using the biGENIUS-X Discovery Companion or using YAML Discovery files created manually

Start using biGENIUS-X

This is the general workflow when you start using biGENIUS-X:

1. Connect to the application
2. Create a Solution
3. Create a Project. There are four possibilities:
   1. Create a new empty Project
   2. Use a Demo Project provided by biGENIUS: If you have never used biGENIUS-X before, we suggest starting with a Demo Project!
   3. Import an existing Project
   4. Use a project example provided by biGENIUS:  To start using biGENIUS-X with an already-modeled Project, you can utilize a Project example provided by biGENIUS.
      
4. Start to work:
   1. Understand Branch overview
   2. Understand Source Systems overview
   3. Understand Dataflow Modeling overview
   4. Understand Generation overview
