Replace a Dataflow Set Model Object

Replace a Model Object in a Dataflow Set

To replace a Model Object in a Dataflow Set by another Model Object, access the Term Mapping overview page for a Model Object:

Next, click the Context menu of the Dataflow Set Model Object, then select the Replace Model Object option.

A side panel appears, displaying a list of available Model Objects.

Hint: You can replace a Model Object in the Dataflow Set of a Model Object depending on the Semantic configuration of the generator.

In this example, you can add Model Objects of types Stage in the Dataflow Set of a Model Object of type Entity.

Select a new Model Object:

Click on the ADD button:

  • The Dataflow Set Model Object was replaced by the selected one:

  • The mappings are preserved and transferred to the new Model Object, if applicable.
    • If the Terms from the original Model Object are available in the new Dataflow Model Object, they are automatically mapped.

    • The alias, Join Rule, and Join Expression (if the Term name exists in the new Model Object) are also copied.
  • A notification confirms the correct replacement:
