Native - Load control environment

A native load control runs the loaders inside the target platform, without another tool. Choose it with the native value of LoadControl Options. The environment you need is the target platform itself.

The dbt generators have no native load control.

What runs where

• Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle (Native Load Control): tables and stored procedures in a load-control schema of the target database. The deployment creates and configures them; you run the generated execution script.
• Databricks, Fabric Lakehouse and Fabric Warehouse (Multi-Threading Notebook): a load-control notebook runs the loader notebooks on four threads in dependency order.
• Snowflake (Depending Tasks, Stage-Driven Tasks, Near-Realtime Tasks): Snowflake tasks run the loaders.
