Native Data Type (Term Mapping)
Description
The Property named Native Data Type is available when you edit a Term Mapping.
It permits setting the Data Type of the native data source if you want to use incremental load in the Microsoft SQL Server - Stage OpenQuery generator.
For example, let's consider an Oracle data source accessing through a Linked server in Microsoft SQL Server.
To activate an incremental load, you must use the BG_IncrementalFilter Default Column.
In addition to the usual configurations for this Default Term, you must also set the Native Data Type value of the Term used as an increment.
Format
The Native Data Type is a String.
Only the BG_IncrementalFilter Default Column must contain the Native Data Type value of the Term used as an increment.
Example:
Default Value
The default value is empty.
