Generators Release - 2.1.0

Generator 2.1.0 is a preview release of the dbt generators for Databricks. No other generator was released as 2.1.0. Generator 2.2.0 is the first regular release of these generators and the next release of all other generators.

Preview scope

• Data Vault: the Stage, Raw Vault and Business Vault model object types, including PIT, the composites and Reference Table. Vault Out was not included.
• Data Mart: Mart Composite, Mart Dimension, Mart Fact and Mart Out. See Mart Out.
• DataVault and Mart: the model object types of both.
• Project properties: Persist Validity (Project), Apply Sensitivity Level Tags (Project), Hash Casing, Hash Concatenation Separator, Hash Null Placeholder and Hash Trim. See How biGENIUS-X builds hash values.

Before you upgrade

Generator 2.2.0 changes these generators as follows:

• Adds the model object type Vault Out to the Data Vault and DataVault and Mart generators. See Vault Out.
• Adds the project property Create Result Views, which is disabled by default for dbt. See Create Result Views (Project).
• Adds the Default Terms BG_IncrementLoadStatus, BG_LowerThreshold and BG_UpperThreshold. See Configure an incremental load.

Regenerate the project after you switch it to Generator 2.2.0.
