      Create a Business Satellite

      A Model Object of type Business Satellite can be created in the Business Vault Layer.

      What is a Business Satellite

      In Data Vault modeling, a Business Satellite stores the context of Business Hubs (See Create Busines,s Hub) which is descriptive data. 

      It is part of the Business Vault area and permits the implementation of the business rules behind the Raw Vault area.

      Creation steps

      A Business Satellite can be created in the same way as a Satellite: see Create a Satellite. 

      Except:

      • The wizard is called Create a Business Satellite from a Raw Vault Model Object.

      Properties

      A Business Satellite Model Object can be configured through the same Properties as a Satellite: see Create a Satellite. 


      Default Terms

      A Business Satellite Model Object will include the same Default Terms as a Satellite: see Create a Satellite. 

      Business Rules

      A Business Satellite Model Object will include the same Business Rules checks as a Satellite: see Create a Satellite.
