      Create a Business Link

      A Model Object of type Business Link can be created in the Business Vault Layer.

      What is a Business Link

      In Data Vault modeling, a Business Link integrates the business keys and stores the relationships between business keys, themselves stored in Business Hubs (See Create Business Hub). 

      It is part of the Business Vault area and permits the implementation of the business rules behind the Raw Vault area.

      Creation steps

      A Business Link can be created in the same way as a Link: see Create a Link. 

      Properties

      A Business Link Model Object can be configured through the same Properties as a Link: see Create a Link.

      Default Terms

      A Business Link Model Object will include the same Default Terms as a Link: see Create a Link.    

      Business Rules

      A Business Link  Model Object will include the same Business Rules checks as a Link: see Create a Link.
